We are located in Clallam County Washington on the rural
Olympic Peninsula.

We are one of 16 community partnerships in the nation
funded by the
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to address
the care needs & preferences of our County’s older adults &
their caregivers.  The Partnership works closely with the
foundation's National Program Office,
Community
Partnerships for Older Adults.

CARE is a collaboration of citizens, agencies, Tribal
governments, & organizations working together to:

  • Provide easy access to information
  • Create a system of services that support the long term
care needs of older adults & their caregivers
  • Create dynamic solutions to current & future challenges
    through community-based Coalitions
  • Advocate through a network of engaged citizens

Clallam County is well-known for its rural beauty & pioneer
spirit. We, of late, have become known for the fact that more
than 30% of our population is over the age of 60. We face
health & service challenges that other counties throughout
the nation will face in the coming years. Together, CARE is
addressing those challenges today through our unique
partnership & providing innovative solutions for tomorrow.
