Sheryl Lowe, Director

Sheryl has been working in the aging field for over 10 years.  
Prior to CARE, Sheryl was the Planning Director/Tribal Liaison
for the Olympic Area Agency on Aging and spent 15 years
prior to that working for her Tribe, Jamestown S'Klallam, in  
organizational development, strategic planning and
governance.  Sheryl is a firm believer in local communities
solving local problems and is a passionate advocate for older
adults.

Alison Hobbs, Community Coordinator

Alison Hobbs and her family recently relocated to the Olympic
peninsula from the high plains of southern Colorado. She has
15 years experience in non-profit administration and rural
development and has broad experience in cross-cultural and
international projects. She is skilled at participatory evaluation,
group facilitation, and is motivated by committed people
coming together to learn, envision new possibilities, and find
solutions to complex problems. She has a B.A. in Human
Development and Social Relations and a teaching
certification in secondary social studies and English as a
Second Language.
